The Hooded Oriole was observed today from about 1:30 to 1:45 PM in the
same Bothell neighborhood. It was across the street from the site
reported. Nice looking bird, with yellow head, lower back, rump, breast
and belly. Large black patch on throat, black wings with white edgings
to the coverts. Black mantle over back with lightish scalloping. Seems
to be actively hanging around feeders in the neighborhood.
