Yakkers,

Yakima Valley Audubon Societies Annual Birdathon has a new record! With 10
teams reporting, we have 185 species with lots of neat birds like Pacific
Loon, Sandhill Crane, Black Tern, Red-breasted Sapsucker, Red-eyed Vireo,
and Clay-colored Sparrow. For those of you who have already made a pledge,
you'll be receiving your very own blow-by-blow account, complete with a
3-page recap and another 3-page spreadsheet with all the data.

If you haven't pledged, but would like to get the results and aid our
efforts, why not make a nominal pledge (I'd suggest 10 cents per species)
to:

YVAS
P.O. Box 2823
Yakima WA 98907

All proceeds go to our conservation and environmental education efforts in
south-central Washington.

If the above sounds like a solicitation, it is! I hope Tweeterdom will
excuse.
