A Black Turnstone was found today and was video taped (although at a great
distance) at the Yakima River Delta from Bateman Island in Richland,
Washington. The bird was seen by several individuals. This bird appears
to be the first record east of the Cascade Mountains. If anyone knows of
other records east of the Cascades, please let us know.
