Notes: Weather was calm and overcast with a bit of drizzle for
about 10min. The ocean was reasonably flat. There was a large
northward movement of PACIFIC LOONS and COMMON MURRES. There
were also many BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE all of them in various
stages between first winter and first summer.

A single flock of 21 WHITE-FACED IBIS flew over near the end of
the observation period. The apparently came from up river along
the jetty and turned north when they reached the tide line of the
beach. The headed toward Cape Disappointment and were last seen
over Ilwaco, WA. My guess is that if they land it will be
Riekola Unit of Willapa Bay.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
