Location: McLane Creek Nature Trail, Thurston County, Washington

Walked the trails in a "figure 8" loop between 1645 and 1825. The
beaver ponds are ~50% covered by Yellow Water Lily, and are
overflowing. The swamps are heavy with the odor of Skunk Cabbage, and
Pacific Treefrog calls are common.
