I park in a lot on 8th Ave. between Columbia and Marion streets. Yesterday
the 21st while walking along 8th I had a single female Western Tanager in
one of the maples which line the street. When I returned to my car after
work. There were at least 5 to 7 Tanagers working the trees. I also saw a
single Empidonax flycatcher hawking insects nearby. The first week of May
the trees here were full of Wilson's warblers.
