K.C. & Steve Mlodinow, Ryan Shaw, Bill Tweit and Myself found a female
mourning warbler on the island across the water from the day use area of
Lyons Ferry State Park. There are two picnic Tables on the island the bird
had been seen directly over a rise behind them. It stays close to the
ground and is jumpy so take your time looking. Other neat birds on the
island include gray catbird and Bewick's wren. Good Luck.
