Bob Armstrong (_Guide to the Birds of Alaska_) recently gave a talk in
Ketchikan. He told of recent research that revealed the red squirrel to be
the number one predator of eggs and baby birds here in Southeast Alaska, so
I wouldn't be surprised if squirrels go after robins' eggs in Seattle. (The
number two predator is Steller's jay.)
