After reading about the food exchange behaviors described on Tweeters, I
noticed it for the first time this week among Cedar Waxwings.
- One instance was in the Leschi Natural Area (36th and Terrace) in a madrona
tree. - The other was from the new park under construction at 5th and Blaine
on Queen Anne. I counted 18 quick exchanges between a pair of waxwings
within a minute or two.

Also, at Waterworks Garden in Renton earlier this week I saw a common
yellowthroat. What a distinctive appearance, with that black "mask."

Finally, does anyone want an empty bushtit nest? It fell down during a
windstorm a week or so ago.
