After spending the weekend at Wenas and almost dipping on the LAZULI BUNTING
(again!!) I almost fell over after I got home and was unpacking the trailer
and glanced out into the backyard. There was this finch sized little blue
bird that flew off into the small pond area next to my house. Could it be a
LAZULI BUNTING. I know they are around the Lacey area, but I had never seen
one in my yard before. I didn't see it again last night, bi\ut I got good
looks at it tonight a few minutes ago as it sat on the trellis in my
neighbors yard behind my feeder area. What a great sighting. Hopefully it
will stay around for a while.
