Subject: Long-tailed Jaeger near Fort Worth

Dear all,
The bird was present until at least 5.15pm, when I had to leave. I will be
there at c. 6.45ish tomorrow morning ( it is light enough to see then, but
I gather that it flew in from its roost near the dam just before 7am this
morning... I was a bit late). It still likes goldfish, but seems now to
prefer the cheaper silver baitfish ($1.50 per dozen at Up a Creek Bait and
Beer, on the right on H377 just before you cross the Trinity River and
enter Wheatland).
I hope someone with a cell phone will be there, so we can call in any news!
Come and enjoy this hugely entertaining bird.
Martin
