Montlake Fill, 3.10 - 4.05pm
Interesting selection of the more unusual ducks seen in the area. Rather
quiet on dry land though.
88 canvasbacks - highest numbver I've seen here.
1 female Barrow's goldeneye
3 redhead (2 male, 1 female)
1 greater yellowlegs - feeding along the edge of Union Bay at the south
side of the Fill.
40+ lesser scaup
140+ ring-necked ducks
7 yellow-rumped warblers
Lots of american wigeon, bufflehead, american coot and gadwall in Union
Bay - no counts were made.
