The adult male SURF SCOTER found on October 23 near Bateman Island was
relocated later that day off Columbia Point by Laurie Ness. It returned to
the shores of Bateman Island on October 24, where it was seen by Bob
Woodley and Ruth Fischer.

Ruth Fischer located the first BALD EAGLE of the season off Columbia Point
on October 24. Chris Simonen saw one at Groves Park in Richland on
November 1st.

4 TUNDRA SWAN were seen by Dennis Johnson at the Yakima Delta on October
28. Dale Litzenberger saw 6 TUNDRA SWANS at the McNary NWR near the Walla
Walla River on November 1.

On October 28th, Bob Woodley found 8 CANVASBACKS off Columbia Point in
Richland. On November 1 he located a PACIFIC LOON, a male EURASIAN WIGEON
and 4 female COMMON GOLDENEYES near Nelson Island in Groves Park in Richland.

During a field trip to the summit of Rattlesnake Mountain on November 3,
Connie Estep observed 3 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS.

On November 5, Nancy LaFramboise sighted 9 WESTERN GREBES and 1 RED-NECKED
GREBE off Columbia Park in Kennewick, opposite the Frisbee golf area.
