Hi 'Tweets. A late in the day walk-thru at the Nisqually Refuge on 5 Nov. produced a beautifully plumaged White Throated Sparrow near the very beginning of the "new" (for us, we recently moved back to the Puget Sound area from S.C.) board walk (the west end). Two Eagles (1 adult and one imm.) were at the marshy pond near there too as well as the oft-seen Gr. Horned Owl on a low-perch only 60 ft from the boardwalk but on its west route. 20 other species rounded out the walk but unfortunately no Short Eared Owls which is what we had hoped for.
