The Lewiston, ID/Clarkston, WA CBC will be held on Saturday, January 5,
2002. A bit less than 1/2 of the count circle is in Whitman & Asotin
Counties, WA. We are averaging about 75 species per count since inception 3
years ago. It is not a pristine area, in fact very little of the count
circle has undisturbed habitat but we do find a wide variety of waterfowl,
raptors, and landbirds. We meet at the Jack-in-the-box on 19th Street in
Lewiston at 7:00 AM
