Did some late morning, early afternoon birding at the Nisqually Refuge and
Luhr Center/Nisqually Reach on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Not much activity at the
refuge, do in part to the late start and the bus loads of school kids (that
time of year again). Highlights included 1 AM. KESTRAL at the refuge and a
very tame hen R/N Pheasant at the Twin Barns. Many Surf and W/W Scoters at
the Reach (love to see big rafts of these birds) along with one male
HARLEQUIN DUCK and two EARED GREBES. That's all!
