Subject: Marymoor Park Report (Redmond, King Co. WA) 11/7/2001

On those really rare post-October Black-throated Grays: I recall a couple
other Discovery Park records, both in November and back in the 80s, at least
one seen by Dave Beaudette near the Daybreak Center. And then there's
single old Seattle and Grays Harbor CBC records, if memory serves, the
Seattle one from Seward Park and the Grays Harbor bird in Hoquiam. The
venerable Black-throated Grays seem to routinely linger into the first week
of October in wWA, but few make it last past the 10th. An Oct. 23 record is
impressive, I remember a couple others from late Oct., my latest is just the
12th at the Seattle Arboretum ages ago...
