Like everyone else I looked in vain for the Tropical Kingbird at Ocean
Shores but did get fine looks at six or seven ROCK SANDPIPERS with about 100
SURFBIRDS and BLACK TURNSTONES on the jetty. One of the Rockers was perhaps
the same PRIBILOF ISLAND individual that spent last winter on the jetty.
Decidedly larger and paler. Also a GREAT EGRET at Bill's Spit in the late
afternoon.
