Hi Tweeties!
My e-mail program does not offer a plain text option.
For you long-time serious birders I may seem to be a bit all a-twitter for posting this modest list, but hey this is MY backyard and I'm pretty thrilled by what I've seen so far without doing a serious backyard birding project.
Song Sparrows
(Some other sparrow type birds)
Oregon Dark-eyed Juncos
Spotted Towhees
BC Chickadees
Bushtits
Kinglets
American Robins
VARIED THRUSHES!!!!!!!
Steller Jays
Crows
Ravens (flying overhead, gronking as they passed)
Pileated Woodpeckers (seen once, but heard many times!)
Northern Flickers (feeding on the ground with the robbins)
Hairy Woodpeckers
And my greatest sighting on my property to date: A BALD EAGLE taking off from one of the taller trees, in the direction of Lake Cassidy.
Now that the trees have pretty much lost their leaves I'll actually be able to see more of the birds!

Life is a sit-com on the reality side of the tube. I know. I live it.
