Brownsmead, Clatsop Co. OR Raptor Count
11/16/2001 0845-1010hr

Michelle and I went out to Brownsmead this morning in
light SW wind and showers. The pastures are very flooded,
but duck numbers are still low. There were 2 WHITE-TAILED
KITES at Bughole and 1 at Brownsmead Dike. LONG-BILLED
DOWITCHERS are still hanging out at the Ziak Refuge in
good numbers. A PILEATED WOODPECKER was in the RED ALDERS
at the front end of Pentilla Rd.
