Hi Tweeters,

The Gyrfalcon was seen at the west 90 on Saturday. Immature bird, nice view
from the parking lot. Virginia and her merry band of birders pointed it out
to us when we pulled in to the parking lot. We say it again about 4:00
along with 4 short eared owls. The owls chased the Harrier and then the
Harriers would chase the owls. Of course the Rough Legged Hawks would get
an occasional threat from one or the other Harrier or Short Eared. Some Red
Tails and Eagles also present. The last part of the afternoon was very
entertaining. Nice weather and lots of fun birds to watch and of course a
stop at the Farm to Market Bakery in Edison, what more can a person wish
for. Oh yes, we must also have some humor. Since the serious birder offend
has wet feet this conversion factor is of utmost importance. 1000cc of wet
socks = 1 literhosen.

God's Peace and Good Birding
