Subject: Christmas Bird Count How-to's

I have added two articles on Christmas Bird Counts.
The first is _The Art of the Christmas Bird Count_ by
Alan Contreras originally published in Oregon Birds (and
also available until recently at the now defunct Western
Birder website). It deals mostly with how compilers
might organize a bird count.

The second is an article by David Fix called _ Tips on doing
your CBC area_ which focuses on how a participant might
approach covering the area assigned by the compiler.

Both articles are in .pdf format, so you'll need acrobat
reader. I hope to have a webpage version of Alan's article
up tomorrow (assuming the power stays on in this wind).
