Greetings all,

The Rusty Blackbird was again present today at 11:30 at the previously mentioned site where Bill Shelmerdine originally found it on Tuesday. It took a long while of standing there for it to finally be picked out by Marv Breece. And of course it showed up after several birders who were there for about an hour prior had left...Hope ya'll got to see the bird later in the day. I saw the bird on Wednesday morning after work, but this was a much better view than my previous one. There were many American Pipits working the area and quite a few Killdeer and W. Meadowlarks. Also a Peregrine made several passes at the blackbird flock while we were there viewing.

Oh and yesterday Michael Dosset and I had the Stanwood Cattle Egret at the same location where Rachel Lawson. Though we tried for the Tropical Kingbird a few times in the drizzling rain with no luck...though I see it was reported again today....what luck we did have....
Cheers and good birding
