Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I birded in the Stanwood area of northern Snohomish Co.,
mainly in search of three target birds, which we located with NO problems,
being the TROPICAL KINGBIRD, COMMON REDPOLLS, and CATTLE EGRET. All three of
these species remain south of Stanwood, with 3 Common Redpolls and the
Tropical Kingbird still present at the residence of Donna Kish, and the
single immature Cattle Egret observed along Marine Drive, and east of Thomie
Rd, but north of Florence Rd., feeding and foraging near dairy cows. The
weather throughout the day was very favorable, as in most areas with mostly
sunny skies, and only minor wind, as we ran into several birders at the home
of Donna Kish during two visits during the day. The Tropical Kingbird was
first noted at 10:30am today soon after Donna arrived from running
errands, etc., then it remained throughout the day allowing very close
approach and photographes, as it foraged actively throughout the yard,
including a visit to the birdbath in the afternoon. The Common Redpolls were
observed sporadically throughout the day at this same location allowing
great views in spotting scopes and binoculars, as they foraged with a small
flock of Pine Siskins, making this species a double treat for ALL the
birders that were present. My mother and I birded with Phil Bartley of
Kennewick at a few locations during the day, after meeting him at the
previous location, as we all located and photographed the Cattle Egret, then
birded the remainder of the afternoon until 2pm with him, checking a few
other nearby locations, including Utsalady Bay on Camano Island. A list of
