Here's a couple of interesting sightings from my morning walk at Wenatchee
Confluence State Park:
Swamp Sparrow...One at the Horan Natural Area. This is my fourth sighting of
three different individuals this fall at the park.
Hermit Thrush...One along the Loop Trail near the boundary with Walla Walla
Point Park.
Wilson's Warbler...One at the Horan Natural Area.
Northern Shrike...One adult along the Loop Trail near the boundary with
Walla Walla Point Park.
Eurasian Wigeon...One adult male at the small bay or inlet at Walla Walla
Point Park, which is just south of Confluence Park. Seen making very short
dives for food, as were several American Wigeon.
Good Birding,
David Beaudette
