On Sunday at about 1:30 pm, Heather, Bruce Labar (and quite a few others)
relocated the Cattle Egret wandering around the cow pasture on the east
side of Marine View Drive and the junction of Thomle Road. We had looked
several times earlier with no success - perhaps it was hanging out in the
barns with the cows?

While searching Thomle Road going west for the egret, we found a Northern
Mockingbird at 8002 Thomle Rd. (small green house). The bird was working
apples on the ground and in a small tree. From there it was seen heading
towards Marine View Drive.

No luck with finding the Tropical Kingbird or Common Redpolls at Donna
Kish's house near the Stanwood Sewage Ponds, even though numerous people
were there throughout the day. However, there is a sharp looking
Slate-colored Junco working the feeders and we found an Orange-crowned
Warbler working the apple tree along the drive.
