I have found that Half-Price Books can be a good source for bird books. I
usually check the one at Crossroads in Bellevue about once a week and have
picked up a number of good books there. I was just there this morning and
found the following available: one copy of Attenborough's "The Life of Birds"
paper back for $8--four copies of Peterson's Field Guide to Warblers for
$8--and two hard back copies of "Living on the Wind" by Weidensaul for $8 (an
excellent book on bird migrations).
