Greetings,

A few notes from my morning walk at Wenatchee Confluence State Park:
About 7 inches of snow on the ground, mostly blue skies, major paved trails
plowed with no ice and very few people...magnificent!!

Red-throated Loon...one adult seen at a distance of about 200 feet. This is
my first for eastern Washington.

Common Redpoll...a flock of about 20 flying around the campground area.

Killdeer...17 on the sandy beach at the swimming area.

Mourning Dove...83 in two small trees at the Horan Natural Area.

Good Birding,
