This is slightly off topic but this discussion reminds me of my early
birding days in Northern California. Some buddies of mine and I used to
go birding at a place called Eagle Lake. We were young but hardcore
birders.

You can find Black Backed Three Toed Woodpeckers at Eagle Lake. We got
tired of saying that long name or writing it out every day so we'd
shorten it to:

BB3TWP

With our young fertile minds that eventually grew into:

BB3TWPITTBTLINCWIPOTUS which means...

Black-backed 3-Toed Woodpecker in the tree by the lake in northern
California which is part of the United States!

Even now almost 25 years later I can rattle that off without even
thinking.
