Subject: Defenders of Wildlife - exaggerating the threat?

I was watching the Daily Show on Comedy Central where they
showed a some News Service video of an interview with a
rehab guy in Great Britain. Apparently, there have been
considerable requests for "pet owls" which the interviewee
did his best to discourage, explaining that it would not
be legal, that owls are dangerous and that they are basically
predatory "killing machines" not designed well for living
with children.
Jon Stewarts comment:"Why would a fourteen year old boy want
a predatory killing machine?"
