Poor guy. We of the lifetime-of-coke-bottle-lenses club will try to
sympathize.

All of the rubber eyepiece cups I've ever seen roll back, but maybe there
are exceptions. The real problem with glasses is the way they fog up in wet
or cold weather. Some entrepreneur should try inbedding wires in eyeglass
lenses like the wires in automobile rear window defoggers. But I suppose
hauling a car battery around would make for a long birding day.
