Subject: West Seattle birding trip

Maybe this isn't really a rarity but I was birding on Harbor Ave. at the
park West of Salty's, and saw six Savannah Sparrows feeding on something on
the rocks by the water. I didn't expect to see Savannahs at that habitat
(since it's not very savannahy). Tell me, folks, is it common? We also saw
some beautiful Harlequin ducks on the windward side of the peninsula in a
usual spot. The bright sunlight made their colors glow.
