Tweeters,

Regarding Bob Morse's new Coastal Birding Guide, I have been fortunate to
able to use an advance review copy of this book for the past 3 weeks, and I
can tell you first hand that it is very user-friendly and helpful in the
field. Besides the color photos of target species (an unusual feature in a
bird-finding guide), the maps and very explicit directions are first-rate.
And I was surprised to find some hot spots I didn't even know about.

Besides the usual places to buy the book listed in Bruce Fischer's message,
please check with your local Audubon Society bookstore. Tahoma Audubon now
has the book in stock -- (253) 565-9278. My review of the book should be
in their October newsletter, The Towhee, out later this week. Call for a
copy.

Also, Bob will be speaking about his book and showing slides at Peninsula
Library on Point Fosdick Dr, Gig Harbor, on November 17th at 2 PM.
