Today SAS led a feild trip to Grays harbor and Tokeland. We found the
Bar-Tailed Godwit in a group of about 150+ marbled 20+ Willets and 2
Whimbrel. It was in the same place as it has been for the past weeks. You
must scan hard for the Bar-tailed. Look for the prominent supercilium, pale
chest, primaries extending farther then the tail, white under tail coverts,
and Barred tail. and solid colors on each of the back feathers unlike the
Marbled which the indival feathers are also barred. Good Luck.
