Columbia Estuary Report - 10/07/2001

There are now at least 25 LAPLAND LONGSPURS at the South Jetty
Shorebird flats. A PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER was hanging out with
the BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS yesterday. A single PECTORAL SANDPIPER
was also there.

Large numbers of WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS are staging at the Seaside
Cove. And there are still several 100 BROWN PELICANS on Youngs
Bay.
