There were one each AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER, PACIFIC GOLDEN
PLOVER, PECTORAL SANDPIPER and SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER. The
Peck and the American were hanging out together mostly at the
east end of the flats. The Pacific flew up out of the west
salicornia patch and out over the dunes to the beach.

The Sharp-tail spent most of its time near the east edge of
big pond and allowed a very close approach (10-12m). Todd
Thornton and I watched it for about 15min. It was still
there when I left at 1645hr.

There are still at least 20 LAPLAND LONGSPURS around the ponds.
