Hi Tweets:

East Lake Washington Audubon's (ELWAS) field trip on Oct. 20th to northern
Camano Island, Stanwood STPonds, and Boe Road gave us the opportunity to see
Snow Goose, Osprey, Northern Pintail, Red Crossbill, Sharp-shinned Hawk (2),
Cooper's Hawk (3), Merlin, Lincoln's Sparrow, Red-breasted Merganser,
Red-necked Grebe, Marbled Murrelet, for a total of 77 species. About 500
Snow Geese flew into Livingston Bay and several more hundred were at Boe Rd,
across the road from the hunters with their decoys and camouflage. Hundreds
of Green-winged Teal and N. Pintail were seen from the dike at Iverson Spit
where the Osprey was fishing. At least 30 Mourning Doves were perched among
the driftwood. A large flock of Red Crossbills were feeding high in the
conifer trees near Moore Rd. on the way to English Boom. Common Loons were
abundant and hundreds of Western Grebe could be seen from Cavalero County
Park.
