Saturday (10/21) I spent the day at Drayton Harbor in Blaine, hoping to see
a BAR-TAILED and/or a HUDSONIAN GODWIT. The HUGO had been seen by 2
individuals that I know of on Friday, 10/19. Saturday there were 7 MARBLED
GODWITS and Sunday there were 8 MAGO, but no BTGO or HUGO.

On Saturday at Drayton Harbor were:
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER- 12
GREATER YELLOWLEGS- 8
LESSER YELLOWLEGS- 2
WESTERN SANDPIPER
DUNLIN
MARBLED GODWIT- 7
COMMON SNIPE -5 in the field near the boat launch
BLACK TURNSTONE -13
YELLOW WARBLER -1 male
EURASIAN WIGEON
FRANKLINS GULL -a first winter bird among MEW GULLS. Seen at 5:15PM on the
outgoing tide looking north from the second shelter. I observed the bird
for about an hour. I saw no BONAPARTE'S GULLS in the harbor.
