My ordered copy of Lyanda Haupt's book, "Rare Encounters with Ordinary
Birds" arrived in the mail about two hours ago. I have been unable to do
anything except read it since! It is a delightfully written, charming, yet
fact filled, book about the birds we see everyday if we have our eyes and
ears open. I love it! I think I will give a copy to every one I know as a
