Everett STP, 12.30 - 2.25pm

You now need a permit to get into the ponds. However they are easy to
get - simply visit the administration building before 4pm Monday -
Friday. There are a few restrictions: you need to check-in to the admin
building when visiting. Visiting hours are 7am-4.30pm 7 days a week. You
must phone ahead for weekend visits - the gates are locked so somebody
needs to be available to let you in.

The ponds along the north side of the lagoons are completely filled with
water so no chance of shorebirds, sigh. The plovers and dunlin were
roosting on the concrete walls on the south side of the largest
(easternmost) lagoon.
