On Oct. 26th I counted 17 TUNDRA SWANS at the Steigerwald Lake
N.W.R. near Washougal in Clark County. These are the first that I have
seen at this refuge this fall, although on Oct. 20th we did see 3 swans
at the Ridgefield Refuge. The single SNOW GOOSE and 14 GREAT EGRETS are
still present at the Steigerwald Lake Refuge.
