I put on my rain coat and surveyed four of my favorite
sparrow patches this morning on the off chance I might
find something like the bounty being reported further
south. I began at the Astoria Sewage Ponds worked my
way over to the Airport Mitigation Bank, put in 10 mins
at the West Airport Kack and finished with a walk along
Heron Avenue in Warrenton.

Bird were reasonably active given the weather BUFFLEHEAD
have return to the estuary. I found a LINCOLN'S SPARROW
and a MERLIN at Heron Ave. The complete list broken down
by site follows.
