Hi Tweets,

I'm glad Cliff posted his message, because it reminded me to tell folks in
Tweeterland that an effort to save Pilling's Pond has begun. The Licton
Springs Community Council is involved, as are neighborhood residents and
other interested people. Currently things are in the preservation planning
phase. Volunteers are needed to help take care of the birds and pond area
during this phase, and take on other tasks.

If you're interested in finding out what's going on and getting involved,
contact Wanda Fullner at wf1 at prodigy.net.

Cheers,

Mary Klein
