Greetings All-

Steve Mlodinow, Bill Tweit, Kevin Aenerud and myself birded various
locations of Ocean Shores today. I'm very tired right now and need to get
off to work so I'll just post a few of the highlights.

TROPICAL KINGBIRD first found by us around 10 or 11AM...stupid daylight
saving time change.... Seen again by us a few hours later with several
other birders including the Sullivans and Charlie Wright, Michael Dossett,
and Hank Vail. It was located along Marine View Drive west of Tonquin
Avenue. First seen along the willows along the road, then along the canal
north of the road.

SNOW BUNTING - 2 flyovers at the Jetty at 7:30-8:00
ROCK SANDPIPER - 2 at Jetty among a number of Surfbirds and B. Turnstones

Very good movement of gulls, loons (most notably Red-throated). Had a count
of circa 10,000 California Gulls at Bill's Spit, with several Herring,
Thayer's, Mews, big-guys....

6 Rough-legged Hawks in Ocean Shores area.
4 Sharp-shinned Hawks in Ocean Shores area.
2 Cooper's Hawks in Ocean Shores area.

1 Oldsquaw (male) at Hoquiam STP (no LTDU e-mails, please).

1 WHITE-TAILED KITE at Brady Loop
1 partial albino Red-tailed Hawk...I forget exact location...near
Montesano...

Tis all
Cheers and Good Birding
