Today, 9/4, I birded the Ocean Shores area with two visitors from
Alabama. We saw two BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS, (originally found by Matthew
Moskowitz (?)), at the base of Damon Point, on the mudflats just south of
the rock wall of the marina. They were associating loosely with some
Semi-palmated Plovers and Least Sandpipers. We also saw two BAIRD'S
SANDPIPERS and one PECTORAL SANDPIPER on the Damon Point Pond.
