Julia Parrish and I are looking for one or two lab-oriented
volunteers/interns for our beached bird monitoring program, COASST
(Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team). We are based in the School
of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington in
Seattle. Members of the Parrish lab
(http://depts.washington.edu/birdfish/) are interested in various aspects
of marine conservation (especially in birds) if you think that you might
be able to devote ten or more hours per week to COASST -- we would love to
talk to you... Among the potential duties are web-based data entry,
slide/photo scanning, and contacting coastal volunteers. For more
