Hello, tweeters.

Just browsing and I noticed a report of 50+ Wilson's Phalaropes at the
Edmonds Ferry Terminal. This is sufficiently unlikely that I can't suspend
my disbelief. Wilson's doesn't occur in this habitat, and that many in a
flock anywhere in Washington at this time of year would be quite
astonishing; in fact, a flock of 50 anywhere in the state would be quite
exceptional. I would guess they were Red-necked Phalaropes, a very likely
bird on Puget Sound in September, perhaps a slip of the pen.
