I spent from 5:30 - 7:00 PM last night and from about 5:15 to 6:15 tonight
on Hartman Road looking for the BUFF-BREASTER SANDPIPER, with no luck. saw
lots of KILLDEER in the field, a couple AMERICAN PIPITS and some other LBBs
but no sandpiper. Such is life.

Today when I was down there I found a lens cover, looks like from a scope,
that was probably lost today. If you lost one let me know and I'll get it
back to you.

Last night I saw one other birder and he was leaving as I was pulling in, but
that is all I saw. Figured I'd see more. I haven't quit just yet and am off
this Friday, so will try again then.

If I see "Buffy" I'll let you know.
