This has been a very good year for locally breeding Anna's Hummingbirds.
We had at least two (likely) nesting pairs in my neighborhood here in
Astoria. Both Anna's and Rufous were seen here as recently as last
week. I would expect a substantial fall dispersal of Anna's to many
previously undocumented sites this season.

As for Rufous Hummingbirds, it is not unusual to have a few hatch-year
birds around through the end of September.
