Hi All,
This morning, after making my weekly check for birds at
Foulweather Bluff, Nature Conser. Preserve, I stopped by Point-No-Point to
check for birds. There were many, many Bonaparte Gulls along with several
hundred Common Terns. Also seen was a lone, juvenile SABINE'S GULL, as
identified while birding with Vic Nelson. It stood out among the many
Bonaparte Gulls with it's dark grey upper wings and the grey going up the
neck to the top of the head. It also appeared to be slightly larger than the
Bonapartes. Also 2-3 PARASITIC JAEGER'S were chasing and harrassing the many
terns and gulls.
